What this covers
This page describes what information the aretiafinance.org website and the Aretia Wallet browser extension handle. [Legal review required: controller identity, jurisdiction and contact details for data requests.]
The website
- Analytics: the site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. [Legal review required: confirm data collected and retention.]
- Anonymous counters: a small script adds one to a daily count when you visit, with your country (taken from your request by our host, which does not give us your IP address to store), and when a swap ends or something fails, with the network, the two coin symbols, the name of the wallet app and the kind of error. It stores no wallet address, amount, IP address, cookie or identifier, and sends nothing if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. The owner reads these totals on a private page.
- Forms: the contact and project-application forms are processed by Formspree. What you submit (name, email, message) is used only to respond to you.
- Wallet connection: connecting a wallet shares your public address with the page so it can read public balances from the blockchain. The site never receives your recovery phrase or private keys.
- Local storage: the site may remember which wallet you last connected, in your own browser only.
Aretia Wallet
Your recovery phrase and keys are encrypted and stored on your device. Aretia Finance never receives them and cannot recover them. To show balances and send transactions, the wallet sends requests, including your public addresses, to blockchain RPC providers and to services such as name resolvers and price or swap APIs. [Legal review required: list third-party providers.]
Public blockchains
Transactions on Solana, Ethereum and other networks are public and permanent. Aretia cannot delete or hide on-chain data.
